I am thrilled to be part of the exhibition " DIVA! Italian Glamour in Fashion Jewellery" whose first stop will be in Abu Dhabi.
The opening of the exhibition will be held on June 16th from 6:30 am Italian time and will be a private event, with the presence of the ambassador and the authorities.
The exhibition will then open to the public from June 17th

" DIVA! Italian Glamor in Fashion Jewellery " features 200 pieces of Italian fashion jewelery that from the 1950s to today are examples of Italian beauty, creativity, craftsmanship and innovation.
Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewelery Design at Politecnico di Milano and Director of the Vicenza Museum of Jewelery with Beatrice Rossato, Livia Tenuta, Susanna Testa,
Diva! introduces Italian fashion jewelery as the aesthetic mirror of an evolving society, illustrating the transformations in style and the achievements of women. This is why we can consider Italian fashion jewelery as a “cultural” object and not just an aesthetic ornament, representing and synthesizing the roots and values of Italian culture. The exhibition travels through the masterpieces of the major Italian bijoutiers , one of the best expressions of Italian craftsmanship, of fashion brands, epitomizing unique Italian creativity in the world, and of independent designers, who bring the evolution of form, innovations of materials and the use of new technologies. International masters and young talent come together with talented fashion jewelery makers, visionary designers and fashion creators that are the envy of the world, giving shape to three different visions with a single great central theme: the excellence of Italian fashion jewellery.
